Our client is a warm, busy household in Southampton seeking an energetic summer manny to be the ultimate adventure buddy for their active 7-year-old boy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a male caregiver who wants to spend the summer at the beach, playing sports, and keeping a high-energy kid engaged, active, and off screens. The family runs a full, lively household and is. looking for someone who genuinely loves being outdoors and active — big-brother energy is exactly what this boy needs.

Schedule & Location

Located in Southampton, NY. This is a summer position running July 1 through September 1. Ideal schedule is 12:30 PM–9:00 PM, five days per week (Monday- Friday or Tuesday-Saturday) — days are flexible and will be confirmed with the family. The family is open to fewer days for the right candidate. This position is primarily live-out. Housing may be available for the right candidate if needed — please indicate your preference when applying.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaged, one-on-one care for a 7-year-old boy throughout the summer

• Transport child to and from camp, the beach, and other activities using a family-provided vehicle

• Plan and lead active, screen-free activities — sports, swimming, beach outings, bike rides, ice cream runs, and more

• Keep child active and entertained during unstructured time throughout the day

• Assist with bedtime routine (child typically winds down around 9:00 PM)

• Coordinate casually with other household staff as needed

• Occasionally assist an easy-going 10-year-old when needed (very minimal)

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required — driving is a core part of this role

• Strong swimmer — swimming with the child is a regular part of the job

• Must be energetic, sporty, and genuinely enthusiastic about outdoor activities

• Male caregiver strongly preferred — family is specifically seeking a “big brother” dynamic

• College student or recent graduate welcome — D1 athletes especially encouraged to apply

• Comfortable working in a full, active household with multiple family members and pets (2 dogs)

• Warm, reliable, and communicative

Compensation & Benefits

• $40.00/hr

• Family vehicle provided for all child-related transportation

• Live-in housing available if needed
