Position Overview

Brooklyn Manny and Nanny is seeking an experienced infant care daytime nanny for a wonderful family in the Hudson Valley area near Woodstock, NY. This is a part-time summer position from May through August 2026, perfect for a caregiver looking for seasonal work in a beautiful upstate location.

Schedule & Location

May through August 2026 (4-month position)

  • May: 3 days per week, 7 hours per day

  • June: 3 days per week, 7 hours per day

  • July: 4 days per week, 7 hours per day

  • August: 4-5 days per week, 7 hours per day

Located near Woodstock, NY - must be local to the area with reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for newborn

  • Manage all aspects of infant care including feeding, diaper changes, and sleep routines

  • Facilitate age-appropriate developmental activities such as reading, singing

  • Handle baby laundry and bottle washing

  • Maintain nursery organization and cleanliness

  • Support infant's growth and development with engaging activities

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of professional newborn and infant care experience

  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle (required)

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification

  • Strong positive references that attest to infant care skills and reliability

  • Must be local to the Hudson Valley/Woodstock area

  • Comfortable with part-time, seasonal arrangement

  • Reliable, organized, and professional approach to childcare

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Compensation

  • Hourly rate: $35-40/hour based on experience

  • Part-time schedule: 21-35 hours per week depending on month

  • 4-month summer position (May-August 2026)
