Male Nanny (Manny) for Two Boys | Upper East Side | $114K+ | Mandarin Preferred

Position Summary

A loving and experienced male nanny (manny) is sought for two boys (18 months and infant) in a bilingual Mandarin-English speaking household on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. • Start Date: May 2025 (with flexibility to start sooner)

• Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (50 hours/week)

• Children: 18-month-old boy and infant boy

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual Salary: Starting at $114,400 annually

• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x hourly rate after 40 hours/week

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and engaged care for both children, ensuring their safety and well-being

• Create age-appropriate activities that support developmental growth

• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks

• Maintain children's daily routines, including feeding, bathing, and napping schedules

• Manage children's laundry and organization of their spaces

• Arrange and supervise playdates and social interactions

• Transport children to activities and appointments when needed

• Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's development and daily activities

• Travel with the family as needed

• Support children's bilingual development (if Mandarin-speaking)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full-time nanny experience

• Minimum 3 years experience working with male children ages 1-2

• Experience caring for multiple children simultaneously

• Legal authorization to work in the United States

• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain)

• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs

• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Driver's license strongly preferred

• Mandarin language skills preferred but not required

• Experience supporting bilingual development

• Background in early childhood education or development
