Position Overview

We are seeking a warm, highly capable Spanish-speaking nanny and household manager for a busy Downtown Brooklyn family with two young children — a 22-month-old girl and a 5-year-old boy. This is a dual-role position that calls for someone equally at ease managing a home and engaging children with confidence, warmth, and structure. The ideal candidate takes initiative, follows through without reminders, and brings calm, professional energy to everything from cooking a family dinner to demonstrating excellent problem solving skills

Schedule & Location

Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM/ or 11:00 AM–7:00 PM) (tentative). Located in Downtown Brooklyn, with easy access to public transportation. Household tasks from 11AM-3PM, School pickup for both children at 3 PM, followed by after-school activities and full charge Nanny tasks. One parent is typically home by 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive care for a 22-month-old girl and a 5-year-old boy

• Conduct school pickup at 3:00 PM and manage after-school activity logistics

• Engage the 5-year-old with age-appropriate activities; support the toddler's developmental needs and allow for a natural warm-up period

• Prepare family meals and children's snacks using simple, wholesome recipes (rice, chicken, baked dishes)

• Communicate in Spanish with the children throughout the day

• Manage household duties from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM: laundry, tidying, light cleaning, cooking

• Support the children's evening routines including dinner, bath, and bedtime

• Run errands as needed

• Overall- keeping the household moving smoothly

Requirements

• Fluent Spanish speaker — comfortable using Spanish as the primary language with children

• Minimum 3+ years of professional childcare experience

• Strong household management skills — equally comfortable cooking, cleaning, and caregiving

• Experience with toddlers and preschool-age children

• Excellent time management and ability to execute tasks independently

• Warm, patient, and engaging — able to connect meaningfully with an outgoing 5-year-old

• Professional, solutions-oriented, and calm under pressure (fevers, emergencies, unexpected situations)

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred

• Legal authorization to work in the United States

• Strong verifiable references

Compensation & Benefits

• $35/hour | $1,400/week guaranteed hours, paid via payroll (tentative)

• 2 weeks paid PTO

• 3 paid sick days

• Most Major holidays off 

• No travel required
