Position Overview

Our client, a wonderful family visiting from Hong Kong, is seeking an experienced and reliable summer nanny for their two young children during their stay in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This short-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to provide dedicated care during their visit from July 1 to August 4, 2025.

Schedule & Location

Exact dates: July 1 - August 4, 2025
5 days per week, hours to be determined (tentative)
40 hours per week guaranteed with flexibility
Located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, easily accessible by public transportation
Live-out position

Responsibilities

Provide attentive and nurturing care for a 3-year-old girl and 12-month-old boy
Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities for both children
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks
Take children to local parks, activities, and playdates
Maintain children's spaces, including tidying play areas
Communicate effectively with parents about children's daily activities
Occasional flexibility to stay late when needed

Requirements

Proven experience caring for infants and toddlers simultaneously
Successful experience with potty training
Knowledge of NYC area and local child-friendly activities
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
Strong references that can attest to childcare skills
Legal authorization to work in the United States

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $30-35/hour (tentative)
40 hours per week guaranteed
Paid overtime when applicable
