Schedule:

• Fridays: 7:45 AM - 6:00 PM

• Saturdays & Sundays: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Flexibility required for possible schedule adjustments)

Guaranteed Hours: 25-30 hours per week

About the Family:
A lively, close-knit family residing in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Weekend Nanny/Family Assistant. With two children aged 2 and 3.5 years and another little one on the way, this growing family values a supportive and energetic atmosphere. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of flexibility, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to not only engage the children in enriching activities but also assist in the smooth operation of the household.

• Active and physically fit to handle daily activities and tasks

• A team player who can work harmoniously with hands-on parents

• Excellent communicator, proactive, and eager to engage children in fun and developmental activities

• Willing to assist with household management tasks to maintain a tidy and organized home

Responsibilities Include:

• Creating a safe, engaging, and positive environment for the children

• Handling school drop-offs and pickups, coordinating playdates, and planning activities

• Assisting with morning, bedtime, and bath-time routines

• Preparing meals and snacks for the children

• Keeping common areas clean and organized, including laundry and tidying up

• Running errands and managing grocery shopping and household organization as needed

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of nanny experience, with a strong preference for experience with toddlers

• Flexible availability from Friday through Sunday

• Able to provide 2-3 solid references

• Local to the area or willing to commute

• Physically capable of managing the demands of caring for young children and navigating a home with several flights of stairs

Compensation and Benefits:

• $35.00 per hour (gross pay)

• Paid vacation and sick days, plus paid federal holidays that fall on a regularly scheduled workday
